Description
In this work, we investigate the recurrent flaring activity observed by STIX from AR 13141, visible on disk in November 2022. Surprisingly, it produced more than 50 hard microflares, which are flare events rooted in a sunspot with a flat electron spectrum. Notably, all events originated from the same structure within the sunspot. In this presentation, we show the comparison between events rooted in this structure with events not rooted in it and discuss what may be at the origin of the flat electron spectra observed in hard microflares.
