My summer internship at DIAS focuses on the statistical analysis of STIX-observed solar flare time profiles in the hard X-ray. I will present my findings with a focus on the largest flares of the current solar cycle, including characteristics such as overall flare duration
In hard X-ray energies, rise and decay times, peak flux, and the occurrence of multiple peaks. This basis will facilitate future exploration of time variations in flare X-ray profiles, particularly Quasi-Period Pulsations (QPPs).
