EU, EEA and Swiss nationals do not require a visa to enter Ireland. However, please note that Ireland is a member of the European Union, but is not part of the Schengen Area. Hence, nationals of other countries may require an Irish visa and are advised to check the visa requirements applicable to their nationality before making travel arrangements.
Please be aware that Irish visa processing times are currently significantly longer than usual and may take up to 8–12 weeks in some cases. Participants who require a visa are therefore strongly advised to submit their application as early as possible and allow sufficient time for processing before their intended date of travel.
